HTG Peer Groups Presents 2013 Leadership Award Winners

International organization of leading IT solution providers honors members for their dedication, commitment and humanitarianism  

HARLAN, Iowa – May 9, 2013 – Today, HTG Peer Groups celebrates those individuals and companies that have contributed tremendously to the organization’s mission to share best practices among IT solution providers. The announcement comes as HTG Peer Groups concludes its acclaimed annual conference, HTG Summit 2013, held in Dallas at the Hilton Anatole.

Christy Sacco, Scott Scrogin, and Arlin Sorensen Named to 2013 SMB 150 List

Sacco, Director of Operations, Scrogin, President, and Sorensen, CEO, have been voted one of the top 150 worldwide SMB IT channel influencers for the second consecutive year.

Harlan, IA – March 25th, 2013 – Over the past several months, hundreds of IT professionals from around the world have been engaged in the SMB 150 Channel Influencers contest. The SMB 150, which is a collaboration between SMB Nation and SMB Technology Network, is the SMB technology channel's annual list of its 150 most influential members.

On Friday, March 8, 2013, Christy Sacco, Scott Scrogin, and Arlin Sorensen were named to the SMB 150 Channel Influencers List for a second consecutive year. They join a group of esteemed colleagues who were chosen during a two-phase voting process. In the initial stage, channel community members voted on 450 nominees at SMB150.com. Following the community vote, a panel of industry experts consisting of Harry Brelsford, (SMB Nation); Karl Palachuk, (Great Little Book Publishing Co., Inc.); Josh Peterson, (MSP Score); Dave Seibert, (IT Innovators); and Dan Wensley, (Level Platforms), evaluated each nominee based on a pre-established rubric. The community vote accounted for 40% of each nominee's overall rating, with the expert panel's decision contributing the remaining 60%.

"It’s wonderful that HTG can be so well represented on the SMB 150 List," said Sacco. "HTG is dedicated to excellence and quality, and this definitely reinforces that commitment."

HTG Peer Groups Announces First Australia/New Zealand Summit

HARLAN, Iowa – March 11, 2013 – HTG Peer Groups, an international organization of IT solution providers, has announced plans for its first Australia/New Zealand (ANZ) Summit. The two-day event will take place in Melbourne, May 20-21, 2013, and will make history as HTG’s first summit event to be held outside of the U.S. HTG established its first ANZ peer group in early 2010, and today there are three groups meeting in this region each quarter.

The ANZ Summit will include a Leadership Forum and an M & A Workshop. “We find that the challenges facing partners around the globe are often similar to those we face in North America. The 2013 U.S. Leadership Forum has been a great success, and we’re excited to deliver the same experience to our ANZ members who are hungry for this type of content,” said Arlin Sorensen, HTG Peer Groups’ founder and CEO.

HTG Peer Groups Leadership Team Honored

Managed Services Provider (MSP) List Honors Top Executives, Entrepreneurs and Experts

HARLAN, Iowa – September 7, 2012 – HTG Peer Groups, a worldwide network of IT solution provider executives formed to collaborate and share business best practices, today announced that Arlin Sorensen, founder and CEO, and Scott Scrogin, president of HTG Peer Groups were selected for Nine Lives Media’s fifth annual MSPmentor 250. The global list identifies the world’s leading managed services provider (MSP) executives, entrepreneurs, experts, coaches and community leaders.
