Evolve Technologies, a solutions provider catering to small businesses in the Washington D.C. Metro area, is partnering with data protection provider eFolder to deliver an off-site backup service. Here are some quick details.
eFolder specializes in “online backup, local backup, email filtering and email archiving services, distributed exclusively through its network of partners.” Those partners are located in the US, the UK, Canada, and other international markets. Through the deal, Evolve can join those ranks and resell eFolder products.
Both eFolder and Evolve have strong brands within the managed services community. Jan Spring, VP of channel development at eFolder, promotes the company at many MSP conferences. And Evolve has surfaced on our annual MSPmentor 100 list, while CEO Dave Sobel — and HTG Peer Group member — pens a column for Channel Insider.
Evolve is one of the few MSPs that specialize in faith-based organizations and other small non-profits in addition to traditional SMBs, and it’s a model that appears to be working for them.
