Upcoming Event #4 - HTG IT Channel Vendor Summit
This is the fourth post in a series focusing on the upcoming HTG events for the second half of 2012. We are looking forward to the series of events planned around recommendations from the HTG Advisory Council. This fourth event in our series happens September 18-19, 2012, and will occur in Omaha, NE, along with a trip to the farm and HTG headquarters in rural Harlan, Iowa, as part of the event.
We are pleased to announce that HTG Peer Groups in conjunction with the Heartland Leadership Group will be hosting our second annual IT Channel Vendor Summit. The purpose of this event is to provide folks who are vendor partners the opportunity to hear from industry leaders around the topic of partners and vendors working together in the channel.
Our speakers will include a panel of HTG partners, along with HLG Executive Coach and Trainer Rich Anderson, and other members of the Heartland Team (including me). The experience will include the opportunity to experience the HTG/HTS/HLG offices on my farm and a ride in the GPS controlled tractors which is part of the solution set offered by HTS. The event will feature a panel discussion on the magic of selling together. There will also be a unique opportunity for a few hours Tuesday morning to learn from and network with sales managers from successful HTG companies in town for the Sales Management Summit, teaching and hearing from one another about cultivating and maintaining mutually beneficial strategic relationships in the channel. It will be an event to remember. Check out the agenda. Registration will be limited, so please sign up now.
This event WILL NOT focus on selling a specific product or service but around the idea of leveraging relationships in the channel in order to optimize what we each do and take our businesses to the next level of success.
Cost: Pricing for IT Channel Summit is listed below. If you are an HTG Platinum or Gold sponsor, you receive two or one free passes to attend, respectively. You will select your total number of attendees, but only be charged for those above your allotted free passes.

I attended the Vendor Summit for Datto last year and found it incredibly valuable! It was great to see HTG's facility and get an in-depth view into the day-to-day life of a VAR and their biggest challenges. The home cooked meals were fabulous and Arlin even let us ride the tractors! I had a great time connecting with other channel executives and sharing ideas. I would recommend this event to any sales, marketing or channel relations professional!

GreatAmerica sent our President, General Manager of Communications and Data and our lead Sales Rep for our IT division last year. All three said it was time well spent. We are sending two others again this year!
