HTG Online for Managers Set to Debut in October
I'm excited to announce that we are introducing the HTG Online Managers track with our first groups being launched in October. The HTG Online Managers track is being developed to help you build the tactical and leadership skills needed by your managers. If you have managers that you would like to register for the program please sign up here - www.htgpeergroups.com/apply
The initial topics that will be covered in the web meetings are:
Organizational Health and Structure
Effective Communication (email and meetings)
Financial Statements 101
Planning and SMART Goal Setting
Collaboration and Sharing
The meetings will be 60 – 90 minutes with self-study activities between meetings. The self-study activities will include recorded content as well as exercises to help the participants learn the material. We are using a learn, do, and share method to bring the content to your managers
We launched the HTG Online owners track in July (a return of the program we had back in 2007-2008) and will have five groups operating by the end of September. We are also taking additional applications for the owners track and will be launching new groups in November, and are also looking to launch our first Australian group in the next few weeks as well.
We are excited to bring the online format to the managers of existing HTG Members. Most companies do not make nearly enough investment in training up and providing skills to the people they ask to lead their teams. Managers are made, not born. And we can't create managers if we don't take the time and provide the opportunities for them to learn.
We will be taking registrations through September 30 and organizing groups to launch in October. If you have any questions please contact Brad DeSent (HTG Online Program Manager) at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
