HTG Member Application

SocialTwist Tell-a-Friend
Introduction

Thank you for your interest in joining HTG Peer Groups. This is the second step in the HTG Membership Process:

  1. Discovery – Learn about HTG from the website, events, members and staff
  2. Application – Confirm core principles, plus complete business and individual profiling
  3. Assignment – Interview with a facilitator and commit to attend a group meeting
  4. Onboarding – Complete the Foundation Program (parts may be completed prior to Assignment).
  5. Performance – Contribute in the first meeting and be voted into the group

At some times, HTG has more applications than openings. Your assignment and approval to join HTG will be determined by:

  1. Meeting the base criteria for membership
  2. Responses to questions in this application
  3. Geographic fit compared to existing group members
  4. Interview(s) with HTG facilitators, members and staff
  5. Completion of the HTG Foundation Program and related onboarding activities
  6. Performance in the first meeting

Base criteria include:

  • Being in a non-competitive market from current members in your group
  • At least 8 full-time employees
  • At least $750K in annual revenue
  • Using ConnectWise as the PSA automation tool
  • Submitting financials quarterly using the Service Leadership Index Benchmark Report tools
  • Participating in periodic HTG surveys covering members, meetings, trends and industry activities
  • Attending quarterly meetings and completing the assignments
  • Completing an annual Member Profile and participating in Member Scorecarding

HTG groups generally meet sometime during the first two weeks of the second month of each quarter. (Feb, May, Aug, Nov) HTG partners with Service Leadership Inc. for third party financial benchmarking services, tools and education. Their data entry window is open the first two weeks of the first month of each quarter which helps drive the meeting schedule.

The 2011 HTG Peer Groups Program Fee is $2,300 if paid in full at the beginning of the year or $675 per quarter. Fees are paid in advance of the meeting. Additionally, you pay your own airfare, hotel and other travel expenses to attend four quarterly meetings that are 2 days each. The Program Fee is structured per-Company, not per-Person.

The only additional costs may be for special activities, expense decisions made by the group, or additional attendees at HTG Summit in May. There are no refunds for prospective members who attend meetings and are not approved as members by a unanimous vote of the group.
